These Editorial Policies, together with Thrive Global dba Felicia Ford & Co.®’s Privacy Policy, set forth the guidelines and standards (“Policies”) that apply to your participation in and contributions to Strategic Edge Magazine: Power Moves for Businesses + Nonprofits and Impact Innovators with Felicia Ford Podcast (“Publications”). “feliciafordandco.com” includes Felicia Ford & Co.® and its officers, directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents. The feliciafordandco.com services may include, but are not limited to, professional business consulting services, courses, magazine, podcast, content, and templates (collectively, the “Services”).

Whereas Thrive Space Global, LLC dba Felicia Ford & Co.® ("Operator") has established these Publications to provide strategic insights and actionable guidance for businesses and nonprofits; and Whereas Contributors, Guests, and Potential Guests seek to share content, experiences, and expertise that align with these goals; Now, therefore, this policy defines the framework for participation and content standards.

By participating in or contributing to the Publications, all parties agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Definitions

Contributor: Any individual or entity submitting written, visual, or other creative content for inclusion in the Publications, such as articles, case studies, or opinion pieces.

Guest: Any individual or entity invited or selected to participate in recorded or live content for the podcast, including interviews, panel discussions, or solo features.

Potential Guest: Any individual or entity considered for participation but not yet confirmed as a Guest.

Publications: Refers to Strategic Edge Magazine and Impact Innovators with Felicia Ford, operated by Thrive Space Global, LLC dba Felicia Ford & Co.®.

Programs, Products, or Services: Includes all offerings provided by Felicia Ford & Co.®, such as interviews, publications, podcasts, webinars, and digital content.

We guide businesses and nonprofits to build robust systems, strengthen leadership, and achieve measurable growth. Each issue provides strategies, tools and resources for strategic growth. 

Impact Innovators Podcast:
This podcast showcases Change Makers transforming industries and communities. By sharing their strategies and lessons, we inspire listeners to elevate their own impact.

Disclaimer: The mission and vision statements serve as guiding principles and do not create binding obligations or guarantees.

Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to all Contributors, Guests, Potential Guests, and any participants engaging with the Publications.

Editorial Principles

  • Integrity: Ensure accuracy, transparency, and originality.
  • Empowerment: Deliver steps, processes, or techniques that are clear, realistic, and designed to help our readers or listeners take decisive actions toward their goals. 
  • Excellence: Maintain high-quality and professional standards.
  • Innovation: Encourage forward-thinking strategies.
  • Respect: Foster inclusivity and amplify diverse perspectives.

Content Guidelines

Magazine Content:

  • Includes articles, case studies, opinion pieces, interviews, and how-to guides.
  • Word count: 800–1,200 words, depending on complexity.
  • Accompanied by high-resolution visuals or multimedia.

Podcast Content:

  • Features interviews, panel discussions, expert insights, and solo commentary.
  • Episode length: 30–60 minutes.
  • Guests must complete an interview preparation form for alignment with the podcast’s mission.

Content Ownership:

  • All content must be original and free from plagiarism. Contributors and Guests grant Thrive Space Global, LLC dba Felicia Ford & Co.® a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, and modify submitted materials while retaining authorship rights.

Fact-Checking:

  • All factual claims must be supported by credible sources. Citations must accompany submissions.

Contributor Guidelines

    • We prioritize contributors who are industry experts, experienced professionals, and thought leaders whose values align with our mission.
    • We seek diversity in perspectives and backgrounds to enrich our content.

Magazine Submission Process:

    • Contributors must submit a proposal or pitch before submitting full articles or content.
    • Contributors interested in being interviewed must submit a completed interview request form, which will be reviewed by our editorial team.
    • Submissions undergo a review process for quality, accuracy, and alignment with our editorial standards. Accepted submissions may be edited for clarity and coherence.

Podcast Guest Participation:

  • Complete an interview request form detailing mission, brand details and bio. 
  • Interviews are conversational style based off details submitted on the interview request form.

Ethical Standards

  • Conflicts of Interest:
    • Contributors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest when submitting content or agreeing to be interviewed. Examples of conflicts include, but are not limited to, financial interests, personal and professional relationships, competitive relationships, and prior commitments that could influence the impartiality of the content.
    • If a conflict of interest is identified, it must be disclosed in the content, and steps will be taken to ensure that the integrity and independence of the publication are maintained.
  • Transparency:
    • We uphold standards of transparency. This includes clearly distinguishing between opinion and fact, acknowledging all sources of information, and avoiding plagiarism, copyright infringement and other such practices.
  • Copyright Compliance: Ensure all content is original or properly credited.

    • The magazine is published yearly or at the discretion of Felicia Ford & Co.®. Each issue focuses on a central theme relevant to strategic growth and innovation in business and nonprofits.

Podcast-Specific Guidelines

  • Distribution:
    • Episodes are released weekly and promoted across social media platforms, email newsletters, and our website.

Content Review and Approval

  • Editorial Review: All submitted content will undergo a rigorous editorial review process to ensure it meets our quality standards and aligns with our mission and values.
  • Final Approval: The final decision on publishing content rests with the editorial team. We reserve the right to reject any content that does not meet our standards.

Fact-Checking and Accuracy

  • Verification: All factual claims must be verified through credible sources. Contributors are required to provide citations for any statistics, quotes, or data used in their submissions.
  • Corrections: If errors are identified in published content, we will promptly issue corrections and notify our audience.

Corrections and Updates

If a podcast guest, magazine contributor, or interviewee identifies an error in their work, they must notify us within 30 days of publication. Notifications should include specific details about the error and proposed correction, along with supporting evidence. Our team will review requests within 10-14 business days for major errors and implement approved corrections promptly. Minor errors will be addressed within 30 days. Corrections for factual inaccuracies will be publicly acknowledged through editorial notes or updates. We are not responsible for errors introduced by the contributor or submissions beyond the correction window.

Errors are categorized as major (e.g., factual inaccuracies, misquotations, or misrepresentations) or minor (e.g., typographical errors or formatting inconsistencies). Major errors will be prioritized, and corrections will be publicly acknowledged if necessary.

Guest and Contributor Conduct

  • Professionalism: Contributors and guests are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism in all interactions related to their participation in the magazine and podcast.
  • Conflict Resolution: Any disputes or conflicts will be addressed through a structured process, ensuring fair and respectful resolution.
